Who: Since 1994, Raymond EMC (REMC) has provided government, high tech, military and medical clients with high-quality RF shielded enclosures and anechoic chambers. Throughout, they have built the company’s reputation for delivering extraordinary client service on projects of all sizes. REMC prides itself on being an industry leader in product quality and performance while providing unmatched client care and product support throughout the design, fabrication and installation process. Their dedication to excellence leads to long-term relationships with their customers.

How: REMC came to Baytek with a specific goal in mind – they wanted to further expand into the US market, but they knew their existing brand and website was preventing them from making the push. So, after some discovery and research, we set about modernizing and simplifying the logo identity and brand. This led us to focusing on the R mark and giving it a technology feel – coupled with the modern sans serif font (which we modified), the branding started to take shape. We worked on all of their marketing materials – from advertisements to trade show booths – to further enhance the look and feel of the company. We recently launched their new website to a fantastic reception, and look forward to continue our relationship as a marketing and design partner.

Data Expedition – New Rebrand and Website Launch

Who: Data Expedition, Inc.® (DEI®) is the creator of the world’s first and only high-performance file transfer software that is completely free of legacy transport bottlenecks and vulnerabilities. Since 2000, DEI has been providing high-performance data transport solutions to the world’s largest companies across nearly every industry and continent, including media and entertainment, health care, legal, military, and oil and gas. The company’s patented MTP™/IP technology uses unique flow-control and error recovery algorithms to achieve high network efficiency across all IP networks. Companies using DEI’s solutions achieve the fastest, most reliable, and most secure data transport available at a fraction of the cost to our nearest competitor.

How: Data Expedition, Inc. came to Baytek in need of a complete brand refresh and a new product website. With little to no branding before, Baytek built the brand from the ground up. The logo mark itself represents data and fast movement, using the upwards facing arrow and 3D box look to create this feeling. The colour palette draws inspiration from exploration and travel – the different horizons give the feeling of time passing, and using gradients we have recreated this emotion. For the word mark, we modified the first four characters of ‘Expedition’ to give it a unique look and mimic the logo mark. The lines of the E and the arrow created from X enhance the feeling of speed and moving forward. The CloudDat website is a WordPress based site that is fast, dynamic and beautiful.

Who: Intrinsec is the leading training provider for security-focused individuals, teams, and organizations alike in the United States and Canada. The educational services we provide—whether that’s training, content development or consultation—all share one purpose; to guide our customers through the ever-changing world of information security, and to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster professional growth. Founded in 2010, Intrinsec Security Inc. is headquartered in Ottawa, ON (CAN), with additional operations in Herndon, VA (USA).

How: Baytek took Intrinsec through our full branding and web process including key messaging, logo design and website design and development. Establishing first the tagline of ‘Secure your potential’, we based the branding around the idea of connected technologies and people, and how developing your skill-set in cyber-security can lead to greater opportunities for individuals and for companies themselves. Having completed the branding, we followed through on the website and various other applications such as the background videos and video bumpers. The website itself is a combination of a well-thought out marketing website, with an easy to navigate course selection process, complete with an e-commerce platform. The custom development also included a built-in timed quiz for students to test their mettle.

Who: Espial help video service providers achieve ‘Web-speed’ innovation with their flexible, open, cloud software leveraging RDK and HTML5 technologies. With customers spanning six continents, Espial is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, has R&D centers in Seattle, Montreal, Silicon Valley, Cambridge, and Lisbon, and sales/support offices in N. America, Europe and Asia.

How: Espial create engaging and immersive video experiences for their clients, so it felt only natural to pursue a video driven website. Using the latest design and navigation techniques, Baytek was able to achieve a fast, dynamic website that takes the user on a journey of discovery – finding out where Espial came from, where they are, and where their future lies.

Who: Strongly customer-focused and solutions-oriented, ICOR Technology has earned the confidence of civilian law enforcement agencies worldwide. ICOR robots are used in more than 30 countries and have even become the national training standard in some police training programs.

How: As a company that sells their products to organizations across the globe, ICOR required a website that is a true testament to their brand and showcases the power and precision of their robots. It also meant we needed to develop a multi-lingual website so they could converse with many nationalities across their customer-base – the languages include English, French, Spanish and Arabic. How: Baytek was hired to rebrand Multiview in early 2016, and we’re really excited to now be launching their new brand and website. Being such a large company with a huge user base across North America, we understood the responsibility of taking on such a rebrand. How: Vortini approached Baytek to refresh their web presence and launch their flagship SaaS offering. The result is a beautiful, responsive website that helps position Vortini as a leader in the sales force optimization sphere. Utilizing modern design and development techniques, and taking advantage of the full screen, Vortini are now equipped with a best-in-class WordPress based website that will help further enhance their sales and reputation.

CENX – New Website Design

Who: CENX is a new-generation software company delivering Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) solutions that automate the entire lifecycle of advanced data services in next-generation virtualized (NFV), and software-defined networks (SDN) infrastructures.

How: The brief for the new CENX website was quite simple – bring us up to date, and then put on us head and shoulders above the competition. While functionally sound, the previous CENX website was not representative of the technological leaps and bounds they had been making as a company. Baytek set about to put that right by introducing a beautiful responsive Website design that took advantage of all the latest HTML and CSS technologies. And by utilizing the WordPress platform, the team at CENX can now easily add new landing pages and content with the same design aesthetics as the rest of the site.

HubStor – New Brand

HubStor Logo

We’re really excited to present the branding for HubStor – a new data-aware, cloud-integrated storage technology company. The logo mark itself is comprised of the following elements: the cloud, data bits and the arrow. The cloud represents the online storage part of their process. The 3D data bits are going to the cloud – we don’t show the sides as they are ‘white’ i.e. negative. The negative space created by overlaying the second data bit on top of the first creates an arrow. This simply indicates data going to the cloud. Having the arrow point to the top right also indicates positivity and results. We used fresh and engaging colours to show HubStor as a technology company looking forward. It differentiates HubStor from the competition, where the palette is generally quite bland.The bluish gray for the word-mark contrasts well and provides a corporate balance to the playful yellow and orange.
