Who: Founded in 1981, CAPCORP has since become one of Canada’s leading independent financial services companies. Their clients range from large national organizations to the individual investor. Their success is derived from a commitment to developing and maintaining quality, long-standing client relationships. Their  independence allows clients to access products offered by most insurance companies, trust companies, and other financial institutions in Canada. Their longevity attests to our reputation as a solution-driven company offering expert advice and lived experience to business owners across the country.

How: As a long time client of Baytek’s, we knew CAPCORP intimately. Even so, we facilitated a key messaging and strategy session to really understand where CAPCORP wanted to be. From there, we developed a corporate brand and website that allowed them to stand head and shoulders above the competition. As part of the rebrand, we also took all of the corporate photography, including abstract imagery and headshots.

This week we had the pleasure of doing a corporate photoshoot for CAPCORP, one of longstanding clients (see HealthPlus) and who we are currently developing a new website for. As well as headshots of all 15 members of the team, we also took some great shots of their recently renovated space. Magenta Investments – New Website Design

Magenta - Responsive Website Design

Who: Established in 1994, Magenta Capital Corporation (MCC) is one of Canada’s oldest and largest Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) managers with current mortgage assets under administration exceeding $296 million. MCC sources, underwrites and manages a portfolio of primarily residential first mortgages, secured by properties located in Eastern and Southwestern Ontario; two of the strongest, most recession resistant real estate markets in the country.

How: Baytek was tasked to create a website and broker platform that truly represented Magenta as a cutting edge, innovate investment company. Building the website upon a mix of stock and custom photography, while still allowing for plenty of white, we created a calming experience for investors, borrowers and brokers alike. We also developed a broker portal that allows Magenta to post news, resources and regional specific contact information.

HealthPlus – New Brand & Website Launch

Who: HealthPlus allows you to make claims as a deductible business expense while providing customizable benefits for yourself and your dependents, and to your employees and their dependents. HealthPlus is built to be flexible – it can be your only plan or supplement your existing plan.

How: Baytek was hired to completely refresh the HealthPlus brand, and develop a custom website and claims management platform. The site is completely responsive, including the administrative platform. The result is a modern rebranding and a beautiful web design.

FCR – New Website Design

FCR Responsive Website Design

Who: Founded in 1991 by Bernie Freelandt, George Caldwell and Edwin Reilly, FCR has become a resource that helps entrepreneurs and organizational decision makers build better businesses and grow their entrepreneurial opportunities in Northern Ontario. At FCR, they are dedicated to encouraging organizations in their growth. They realize that as your business matures, it will need to grow.

How: As the largest Chartered Accountants firm in Northern Ontario, FCR required a web design that really matched their reputation. Using custom photography of their team, we created a very visual site with a full screen experience for the user. The result is a beautiful design with pertinent and useful content, aimed at their key audiences.

PBC Group – New Rebrand and Website Design

PBC Group - Logo Design

Who: PBC Group started in 1956 when Peris Bouzanis began to construct housing for CMHC in Ottawa – swiftly branching out into virtually every sector of the construction industry. In 1985, Peris’s son Paul Bouzanis took over and refocused PBC Group to specialize in project development and construction management. He also developed investment and asset management divisions of the company, which are a product of PBC’s development experience over the last 30 years. PBC Group’s focus is now to service our institutional clients’ real estate investment needs.

How: Baytek rebuilt PBC’s brand from the ground up – including key messaging, logo design and website design. The colour scheme we chose is a classy, modern palette aimed at the target audiences. We used monochromatic colours for the primary scheme to help give the idea of style, subtlety and understated elegance. Using the three shades of the Cool Gray in the logo mark meant we could simulate a steely metal look, which gives the feeling of sturdy structures. The logo mark itself combines a number of ideas – the idea of structure, paths and bar charts, all combining to create a solid mark and a general feeling of what PBC Group are about. The website followed PBC’s sense of a personal touch, combining unique imagery and dynamic font styling to give the user an interesting yet informative experience.
