Land Acknowledgement
Acknowledging the past, shaping a better future.
We recognize that the land we live and work on holds a deeper history – and that acknowledging it is part of how we move forward with intention and respect.
Baytek acknowledges that we work on the traditional, unceded, and unsurrendered territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation. We recognize and honour the Algonquin people, who have stewarded this land for millennia, maintaining deep connections to its waters, plants, animals, and ecosystems.
As a people-first agency supporting mission-driven organizations, we are inspired by Indigenous teachings that emphasize balance, respect for the land, and community stewardship. We also recognize that the work we do, alongside our clients, has the potential to shape narratives and influence change. That responsibility matters.
We express our gratitude to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples for the privilege to live and work on these lands. This acknowledgment is not a statement of the past, but an ongoing commitment to learning, listening, and amplifying voices working toward a more equitable future.

Not sure where to start? That’s okay.
Many of our longest partnerships evolve over time – starting in one area and growing into another, sometimes overlapping. These are simply ways to understand how we can help.
